.:DELETE WAREHOUSE RAVE PT. 1:.
.:Bringing the wonk to Cambridge:.

Our first adventure having flown the nest in Bournemouth will be a monumental step for Delete. Those closest to us know we have long been looking for the perfect opportunity for a grubby, back to basics warehouse location to bounce or sound around, and now it's happening. Joining forces with Horseplay Records, we will be hosting a stonking all-night mash up in a secret location on the outskirts of Cambridge with a fully operational rig primed to knock your face off.

On beat patrol will be our dear friend Chris 'Boxman' Box, fresh from his birthday celebrations for Runsounds the night before(!). Le Jockey is one of the driving forces behind Horseplay, our connections into the Cambridge underworld, and since he first started sending us tunes for Alt Recordings we've been hooked on his driving, funky sound. Tone Def and Mr Smith will be in full effect with their smorgasbord of electronic dirt-bombs, and Sam I Am rounds out the Horseplay representatives.

Being in such a desirable location, you'll have to email jpdavies[at]tesco.net or oli[at]deletetechno.com for full directions on reaching this rave haven. Whether you're trekking up from Bournemouth or live just round the corner, this will be one Delete to tell the grandkids about.

.:ALT RECORDINGS AT NETAUDIO 2008:.
.:Come and have a go at remixing our netlabel:.

Alt Recordings will be hosting a stall in the Marketplace at the immense Netaudio festival due to take place in London from October 22 - October 25. The festival will be held in Shunt, a unique venue nestled directly underneath London Bridgefeaturing a labyrinthe network of tunnels and spaces that will be filled with a rich tapestry of music that thrives in the digital era. Amongst the blinding line-up will be appearances from Audio Dependent, Tom Ellis and Leif and a whole host of workshops and other such entertainment over four days.

To make our contribution worthwhile we're going to be giving people the chance to have a go at remixing an Alt tune in Ableton, with guidance from label boss Tone Def. The best remix of the weekend will be put out on the site. Either way come down and say hello, we'll have some promo copies of the compilation up for grabs as well as other goodies.

.:DELETE SECOND BIRTHDAY with Multivitamins:.
.:The last session at Dusk Till Dawn:.

Woah there, did two years just fly past us? It only feels like a second since the hectic party with Cesar cemented our first twelve months of wonky electronic adventures and here we are again. The last year has been a step up for Delete, with UK debuts from such respected artists as [A]pendics.Shuffle and Donk Boys, our first foray into the festival circuit at the Sellindge Music Festival, and heaps more memorable parties besides.

To celebrate our birthday in style, we felt it was time to put on a veritable feast of a line-up that continues our mission to bring only the finest house and techno talent to our ever-growing crowd, and cements our position in the UK scene and beyond.

We’ve long been promising a hook up with London powerhouse Multivitamins, and finally it’s happening with a whopping three members of their extended family delivering the audible goodies. First up is a live set from Sebastian Russell, a producer we’ve long been digging with a typically Delete-friendly eccentric sound that combines impulsive dancefloor dynamics with a rich tapestry of found sound, trippy synths and quirk oozing out of the soundwaves. On top of that we have the MV head honcho Dou Dou Malicious on DJ duties alongside Arnaud Le Texier, who you may remember levelled Dusk Till Dawn back in May 2007. Between them they will span the farthest reaches of 4/4 music, from driving techno to freaked-out house.

Upstairs the Dubnium massive will be returning to belt out a mind-boggling mash-up of roots, digi-dub and dubstep to get your bowels a-wobbling with regular hoodlums Mudie and the Dubnium DJs. Of course our residents Tone Def and Mr Smith will be on hand to destroy your brains with the funkiest bombs known to man, but the fun doesn’t stop at the club. We will be returning to a particularly choice after-party location to push the party on well into Saturday, making this party one not to miss.

As if that wasn’t reason enough to get on down to Bournemouth for a riotous weekend, this will also be our last regular session at Dusk Till Dawn for the foreseeable future. Cutting the good ship Delete loose from it’s moorings, we feel it is time to explore uncharted territory with the event. Keep your eyes peeled on the website for the latest developments in our never-ending quest to bring the wonk, and of course the growth of our label, Alt Recordings.

.:CHRIS BOX CONFIRMED FOR MAY:.
.:Runsounds head-honcho coming to Bournemouth:.

Clearly on a roll with some of the best atmospheres we've had in Delete since we started this wee shindig, there's no let up in our quest to bring the best leftfield house and techno to a town sorely in need of some fresh sounds. After threatening a collaboration for some time now, we are finally doing the honorable thing and hooking up with our London cohort Chris Box.

The man responsible for the blinding Runsounds parties found in some of the most unique rave locations in London, and heavily involved with the international Netaudio Festival, the Box man has his fingers in many a sonic pie, and his stints on the decks never fail to hit the balance between all-out party fodder and brain-tweaking madness. His years spent with the Sonic Soundsystem cutting up techno and electro at free parties across Europe throughout the 90s have shaped someone that goes a step further than your run-of-the-mill "disc-jockey".

Tone Def and Mr Smith will be on hand to deliver a heaped platter of whacked-out house, freaky techno and all manner of funky electronic matter and once again our brothers in badness the mighty Blink Soundsystem will be manning the upstairs lounge with an array of techy breaks, deep house, dubstep, electronica and a whole bunch of other pigeon-holes for quality digital sonics.

With potential after-hours situations becoming more and more regular (offers always welcomed!) there's a good chance you're going to have to write a hefty portion of Saturday and all ; )

.:APRIL PARTY ANNOUNCED:.
.:John Barber to headline:.

Having just about recovered from the all-out destruction of [A]pendics.Shuffle, it's time to announce the next installment of Delete in Bournemouth! After the international tomfoolery of our last few parties, we're taking things back to basics with a party based around purely homegrown local talent.

We've always been fans of John Barber's Electric Playground night, which has brought the likes of Nathan Coles and Luke Solomon to Dusk Till Dawn, so for this party we're welcoming him down to share his futuristic tech-house vision with us. Don't expect the usual mind, as Barber will no doubt be leaping on the opportunity to play the weirder corners of his record collection. This is Delete after all.

After having to graciously cut back their sets in light of the guests we have had playing, this party will also be a chance for Pseudo Funk to get the audience back in the palm of their hands for what should be a cosy, intimate Delete party.

As for upstairs, we were so impressed with the vibe the Blink Soundsystem crew brought to the lounge, we're bringing them back again! So tell all your friends, gather your comrades, and let's have another quality session of underground electronic music.

.:DELETE'S FIRST FESTIVAL:.
.:Hosting a dance arena in Kent:.

We're very excited to announce that Delete will be hosting the dance arena for the last day at the first Sellindge Music Festival! Based near Ashford in Kent, this fresh face on the festival calendar is going to get a serious electronic overhaul when we roll into town packing a fresh arsenal of house, techno, dubstep and electronica - basically just like a Delete party but in a field! We're keeping the line-up details close to our chest for now but rest assured it will kick serious ear drum busting ass. The date for your diary is Sunday June 8th, so make your preparations! For more details on the festival head to SellindgeMusicFestival.co.uk!

.:UK debut for legendary producer:.

19/02/08 - We are bringing the one and only [A]PENDICS.SHUFFLE to the UK for the very first time! Our March party looks set to be one of our greatest yet as the man also known as Kenneth James Gibson brings his wrecking ball of a live set to Dusk Till Dawn. With an approach to house and techno that defies categorisation, the mind-melting sonic experimentation of the man's releases only gets trippier and funkier in the live domain. Don't believe us? Then check out these insane live sets to get you in the mood!

.:DONK BOYS COMING TO DELETE:.
.:UK debut for Swedish badasses:.

08/01/08 - Delete is very proud to be hosting the UK debut of Sweden's Donk Boys. With releases on labels such as Floppy Funk and Frankie, over the last year Thomas Jaldemark and Martin Abrahamsson have floored the competition with their twisted take on 4/4 house and techno. The duo's live set should be packed full of freaky samples, irrepressible grooves and a warped sense of humour, which makes them the perfect guests to have at Delete! Check out the full details for the party including links to free music here.

.:JANUARY CHAOS ERUPTS AT DELETE:.
.:No rest for the wicked after Xmas:.

22/01/08 We just want to say a massive thank you to everyone that came down on Friday and made our 2008 warm-up party so completely insane! Cesar was on absolute top form, whipping out old-skool house groovers, twisted micro freakers and a heap of surprises. The Dubnium crew did a sterling job of upstairs, cutting between raw, evil dubstep and soulful, heady roots flawlessly, and to a truly grateful crowd. Two floors of killer music, jumping people and good vibes all over the place. Here's to the rest of the year!

.:TONE DEF SINGLE AVAILABLE TO BUY:.
.:On US label Binge Records Green:.

03/01/08 The brains behind Alt Recordings, and one half of Pseudo Funk, has a release available for purchase from Binge Records Green under his Tony Guinness alias. The track, 'Sweet Onions', is prime stripped-back freak out music, with a generous helping of funk to boot. Also up for grabs is a remix from Victor Gonzalez!
